Passes taken at speed
Where the 411 asks you to plan an overtake, the 450 simply completes it. Forty newton-metres arriving at 5,500 rpm and a six-speed box with a tall top gear mean the long climbs out of the valleys — the haul up to Manizales, the passes on the way toward the Tatacoa — happen at the speed of traffic rather than behind it. Performance and Eco ride modes change throttle response, and the rear ABS switches off when you want the back wheel free on gravel.
